High-Technology and Economical Crushing Solutions for the Hardest and Most Abrasive Rocks
In crusher (crushing-screening) and ore beneficiation plants, crushing materials with the highest hardness and abrasiveness such as basalt, granite, quartzite, and river gravel can lead to high wear parts costs. Krismak Cone Crusher series is designed to advanced engineering standards to process these challenging materials with the lowest operating cost, minimum wear, and high tonnage efficiency, operating on the compression principle rather than impact.
Krismak cone crushers, which can be used in both secondary and tertiary stages of plants, are equipped with advanced hydraulic control systems to provide maximum occupational safety and flawless product gradation.
How Does a Cone Crusher Work?
Cone crushers crush material by compressing it between a fixed outer bowl (Concave) and an inner cone (Mantle) that gyrates via an eccentric shaft. Hard rocks fed from above are crushed under high pressure in the narrowing crushing chamber with each gyration of the inner cone and filter downward by gravity.
Since crushing/compression force is used instead of impact energy, the wear time of metal surfaces is much longer compared to impact crushers even in the most abrasive stones.
Outstanding Technical Features of Krismak Cone Crushers
Advanced Hydraulic Adjustment and Safety System: You can hydraulically adjust the product output size (CSS) with a single touch from the control panel. It also automatically detects uncrushable foreign objects (metal parts, etc.) that may enter the crushing chamber, raises the main body (Tramp Release), and protects the machine from damage.
Long-Lasting High Manganese Alloy Liners: Specially cast jaws (mantle and concave) with maximum wear resistance, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in the hardest mining and quarry sites.
Flawless Automation and Smart Monitoring Technology: Maximum performance with zero risk thanks to a Siemens/Schneider infrastructure PLC automation system that monitors motor load, oil temperature, oil pressure, and wear rate in real time.
High Cubic Product Rate: The optimized crushing chamber geometry and eccentric speed combination guarantees the highest cubic form aggregate and aggregate distribution among compression-based crushers.
Automatic Circulating Lubrication Unit: Integrated hydraulic lubrication station with continuous flow and temperature-controlled system that extends the life of bearings and journals.
Wide Range of Applications
Krismak Cone Crushers are the main hub of challenging and high-tonnage projects where operating costs are of vital importance:
Mining Sites: High-efficiency crushing line before grinding mills in iron, copper, gold, chrome, and bauxite mines.
Heavy Aggregate Production: Basalt, granite, and gabbro crushing plants for road construction, high-speed rail lines, and high-strength concrete projects.
