KRISMAK KS200 Series is a bolted-type industrial cement silo designed for large-scale infrastructure and construction projects where meeting high-volume cement needs is of critical importance, with a storage capacity of 200 tons. Preferred especially in high-capacity concrete plants and long-term projects where uninterrupted cement storage is essential, the KS200 has been developed to meet the demanding conditions of the industry with its robust structural design and comprehensive equipment infrastructure.
In terms of structural durability, the KS200 Series is manufactured to fully meet all engineering criteria required by industrial standards. This robust skeleton, consisting of 5 mm conical thickness, 4 mm body and roof plate, 50×50 mm L-beam reinforcement structure, four pipe legs with Ø219 mm diameter, and 60 mm diameter wind brace elements, ensures that the silos maintain their stability and operate under all meteorological and operational load conditions. The loading pipe with an outer diameter of 114 mm, body thickness of 3 mm, and elbow thickness of 6 mm has the optimum flow geometry to carry out cement transfer safely and efficiently. All static load and mechanical calculations are carried out with ANSYS Workbench CAE software, which is accepted as a reference in global engineering applications; this scientific design process proves that the silos can operate without issues at 200-ton capacity for many years without any risk of deformation. All components used in production are processed with high precision using laser cutting and laser drilling technologies; this ensures perfect dimensional fit and workmanship quality during the assembly process.
In terms of equipment content, the KS200 Series is delivered with a comprehensive equipment set that prioritizes operational safety and ease of use. The wide maintenance platform positioned between the legs, cement filling pipe, internal and external manholes, and safety guards are among the core components. Roof flanges, air filter, pressure safety valve, upper and lower level indicators, air fluidization nozzles, impulse valve, and butterfly valve for manual discharge are included in the standard equipment scope, enabling the silos to be commissioned without the need for additional equipment procurement.
In terms of surface protection systems, the KS200 fully meets the quality standards meticulously applied across all of KRISMAK’s cement silos. The protective coating system applied to the silo surface, consisting of one coat of anti-corrosive primer and two coats of topcoat epoxy paint with a total thickness of 140 microns, provides the structure with long-term assurance against moisture, oxidation, and atmospheric corrosion. This application also contributes to preserving the visual integrity of the silos and presenting an aesthetically satisfying appearance.
Thanks to its bolted design, the KS200 Series offers superior flexibility and time advantage in transportation and installation processes. The ability to quickly assemble the parts on-site significantly reduces logistics and operational costs especially in projects requiring repositioning. KRISMAK KS200 brings together high-volume cement storage needs in a single integrated solution with its high capacity, engineering-based structural safety, complete equipment infrastructure, and site-friendly installation features.
